Use powerful grid

We need to choose a powerful grid implementation. Candidates are

• UI Grid http://ui-grid.info/ Powerful and flexible. Supports all basic features (Multi-Select with very uncommon custom check widgets) and also grouping, PDF/CSV export, inline-editing, etc. No Tree-Grid. • Angular Grid http://www.angulargrid.com/ Good performance (see showcase with 10.000 data sets and angular custom widgets). Supports all basic features and also Tree-Grid. No Grouping and no inline-editing AFAIK. 99% by one single developer. • HandsOnTable http://handsontable.com/ Excel oriented, quite flexible and acceptable performance. No direct AngularJS integration but somehow possible. Supports all basic features including very special excel features. Direct Copy&Paste from/to Excel. Keyboard control fully supported but not very accessible.

So far we used UI-Grid. I am not yet sure if ag-grid.com is actually better.

ag-Grid is deffo better! the ag-Grid forum has lots of people moving from UI-Grid to ag-Grid and everyone is happy.

Regarding grid, we should definitively have a look at the compatibility to angularjs2. Valor software seems to be quite active and capable of implementing more complex angular2 components like tables, tree structures, etc. Some of these components are already available on their repository and you will get a first impression on what is coming next: https://github.com/valor-software/ng2-plans
