Footprint reader widget not functional. #9

I try to power density on mirror about I cannot not connect mirror widget to footprint reader widget. need help. - Windows platform.

Hi Luca, I don't sure. I don't know how to check. Is it in option > preference or somewhere else.

I change it to "yes" but it has still not work.

It should. Try restart the application. There is no such issue in a correctly configured OASYS.

After restarting, check if the option is actually switched to YES

Hi Luca,

I have already followed your instruction. After restarting, it is switched to YES. Unfortunately, it is not working in windows but working in ubuntu.

The main problem is caused by windows platform, i believe.

Noted. I believe is a permission problem at the files system level. The switch of options is registered in a xml file in some cache directory. If you have wrong permissions, it won't write it. There is no other software reasons, because that function is up and running since years. I will check on a windows machine as soon as I can. Which version of Windows are you using?
