Hello together, is there anybody who can help me WebYep get fixed in PHP7? I could pay for this.

All the best Alex

Our team is in the process of converting at the moment.. in fact its just the loops we are having issues with but we hope to be finished soon kind regards Max

@maxfancourt i`m also interested in using WebYep width PHP7 - let me know if there is a way to do this

simonclay commented 7 years ago

Hi @maxfancourt, I am unsure as to where I can download your version of WebYep. Is it available for public release or still in development?

skaicaptain commented 7 years ago

nice to see some live here :) i am sorry i can't be of any help with the php7 question, though. i have another one for webyep and rapidweaver: can i just replace the existing files on the server with the beta 2.0 files to be up to date? will anything break? thanks a lot for your great work! kai

maxfancourt commented 7 years ago

Hi everyone its actually done webyep2 has been completely upgraded and now works correctly in php7 I havent actually launched it yet but I was planning on sending what I have done over to Johannes at OBD for him to approve first If all went well then there is going to be two versions The free version and then the commercial version which is basically the free version but with an added and installed Redactor wysiwyg editor for the webyep richtext editor The advantage of the redactor editor is that we have also installed a file and image upload system so you won't have to install anything. Anyway that where I am with it so as long as I get approval from OBD then its all ready to rock and roll

with the very latest version of webyep 2 then yes it will break if you have used loops unfortunatly to make things work correctly in PHP7 we had to rewrite quite a bit of the loop code and so there are two small additions to the loop code.

if you haven't used loops then technically the old code snippets should work with the new system, although things like the config file is new and would need replacing

simonclay commented 7 years ago

Sounds great Max well done! I prefer Redactor, so I'll be interested in the Commercial version for some of my clients sites.

Where should we look for the announcement of the launch/availability?

skaicaptain commented 7 years ago

thanks max! is a loop the feature of being able to add new blocks to the layout?

maxfancourt commented 7 years ago

Hi Simon and Skia I will announce it here and I will build a quick single page of the commercial version (ps its a one off payment of 20 pounds (so with the value of the pound at the moment that should be around 4 beans) to cover the licence and that should mean you can use it on all your clients projects

and yes loops allows you to create recurring new blocks

Sounds like a bargain to me. Looking forward to seeing it Max, thank you.

Hi maxfancourt

I'm waiting for your announcement :-)

Whats about WebYep2 for PHP7? Anything new? Where can I get it? How can I use the WebYep of Git with Dreamweaver CC? Is it the same as yours WebYep2?

Full of hope hegi108

I don't know if people have missed it but webyep2 was released about 4 months ago and it can be found here https://github.com/maxfancourt/WebYep
