This is a probably something to file under "IE is junk"; but, just in
case, here goes.
-- What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add a sourcecode block in a free WordPress blog.
2. Set as CS.
3. View in IE7.
-- What is the expected output?
I expect to see unclipped lines.
-- What do you see instead?
I instead see clipped lines, clipped vertically, so that only 1/2 of the
line is visible.
-- What version of the product are you using?
Unknown except to note that I am using whatever is given free on a free
WordPress.com blog right now.
-- On what operating system?
For the hosting, the OS is unknown.
For the client, my machine is running Windows XP Pro, fully-patched, with
IE7 fully patched.
-- Please provide any additional information below.
See the attached screenshot.
FF does the same thing but with less frequency.
This appears to be a rendering issue-- the browser is not "keeping up"
with the CSS, or something like that.
The text IS there, as proven by the fact that when one selects it is IS
visible.
A browser refresh often fixes the issue.
Yours is the only free way to show code on a free WordPress.com blog
without using a plugin-- so, PLEASE try to fix it for us if at all
possible.
Thank you.
