I have never used Easy News before but I think this should be possible to implement, the only problem I foresee is that it might be a pain to get Fen working with just audio sources as it seems the majority of the boilerplate code is made for videos - let me have a quick look at the API and the current codebase around it and I'll get back to you.

As predicted, it's gonna be quite the challenge to make the addon work with audio sources - I've started making changes on my local to compliment this, but as of now I don't have a specific timeframe on how long this will take. When I get it to a point where the addon will happily accept both formats, I will start updating the EasyNews API wrapper to allow for audio searches too.

9 months ago Don't detract from the main development on my account, I am anxiously awaiting seeing what you can accomplish. If you can manage to integrate comparability with audio files I think you will be the first to do so. Good luck and Thank you
Thank you for taking up the torch! There is a functionality that I have wanted to see in Fen, but before I could suggest it the dev moved on to developing a more streamlined project. I enjoy using Easy News to listen to audio books but Fen does not support this. Is there any way that this could happen? I am sure that I am not the only person that would find this useful because there are times that viewing a screen is not possible or the content is not available in a video format.
