Hello,

Thanks for this amazing tool !! I installed succesfully descartes and imported my graphs.

However, i want to know if it's possible to have in my dashboards, an another level to put together graphs. i.e : like in cacti, if we have a cluster and hosts. a cluster_1 have 2 hosts and each host has their graphs.

Thanks

I'm not sure if you're referring to templates or something else. Please clarify?

Thank you for answering !

In fact, i want to reproduce cacti style into the dashboards of descartes. With the displaying of a group of hosts rattached to a cluster (as shown in this picture below) 865px-cacti_ software _screenshot

In the descartes's dashboards we are able to do the 1st level. i.e : like on the pink part, we can have a set of graphs attached to each host by including them in a new dashboard named with the same name of the host.

However in the light green, we see that we have for example an environment named "Dallas Tx" which have a cluster named "switches" which have two host.

My question is : is there a way to have a display like this in descartes ?

There's nothing that resembles Cacti's templates. Descartes was designed as a true client/server app with a fully functional API that you can use to your advantage. If you're using any CM automation I strongly suggest you check out the Descartes API docs to see how these can be leveraged for your environment.

Hope this helps!
