Reagent Ontology (REO) has disappeared #1015

I was looking at updating our miscellaneous OBO imports, and ran into a problem. OBI imports a couple of terms from the Reagent Ontology:

These used to be in Ontobee, but Ontobee no longer lists REO. Neither does the OBO Registry or the PURL system, and the terms don't resolve. I found this archived Google Code site but nothing newer:

Does anybody else know the status of the Reagent Ontology? If not I'll move this to the OBO Registry tracker.

We were trying to work with REO when they were funded (Matt Brush, Melissa) and had wanted to import a whole set of REO terms as a branch within OBI. Similar to the services stuff. But that never materialized. The terms were co-developed with molecular label role / molecular label terms were co-developed with OBI, and I would quite strongly prefer to move them into the OBI namespace now, even if REO does continue to exist somewhere.

Discussed on the OBI call Sept 16, 2019. Since REO neither registered to the OBO Registry or the PURL system, we will assign OBI IDs to two terms and give credit the REO who generate the terms.
