creatine assay and creatine measurement #1746

I was wondering if there is a connection between some terms in MAXO and OBI

Chemical measurement for example http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/MAXO_0001236 how is related to the OBI assay. A more specific example is creatine measurement in MAXO (http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/MAXO_0001228) definition: The determination of the amount of creatine present in the sample. ? How does relate with creatine assay in OBI http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/OBI_0003194 definition : An analyte assay that measures the abundance of creatine. Is OBI term the assay used to rich the MAXO measurement? Or the MAXO term should be consider an upper class of creatine assay? From the MAXO definition is not real clear to me. I am trying to use terms from both ontologies and I would like to be sure I make the right connection .

MAXO is designed to be used with MONDO/HPO, which is essentially its own ontology world, and they have not made real attempts to be interoperable with the rest of OBO outside of their 'world'.

Ok , that is really bad. Anything we can do to help with the integration? I have a question why are MONDO and MAXO listed under OBO if there is not effort to connect? May be this is a big conversation Thanks Bjiorn
