This issue covers 3 different types of CRISPR screens.

Related publications:

Preferred Term: CRISPR perturbation screen Definition: An assay in which cells expressing a Cas system are infected with a library of guide RNAs with the intent of causing a perturbation at the target of the guide RNAs. Parent Term: Somewhat related to OBI:0003133 cas mediated mutagenesis, but the cells are affected by a perturbation rather than a mutation.

Preferred Term: CRISPR perturbation screen followed by single-cell RNA sequencing Definition: An assay in which cells expressing a Cas system are infected with a library of guide RNAs with the intent of causing a perturbation at the target of the guide RNAs, and then are sequenced using single-cell RNA sequencing. Parent Term: Possibly OBI:0003133 cas mediated mutagenesis (see previous comment), OBI:0002631 single-cell RNA sequencing assay.

Preferred Term: CRISPR perturbation screen followed by flow cytometry and FISH Definition: An assay in which cells expressing a Cas system are infected with a library of guide RNAs with the intent of causing a perturbation at the target of the guide RNAs, and then are sorted using fluorescence imaging. Parent Term: Possibly OBI:0003133 cas mediated mutagenesis (see previous comment), OBI:0002960 fluorescence imaging-based reporter gene assay

@jenjou Are you available to join one of our development meetings?

jenjou commented 2 weeks ago

Could you let me know when these meetings usually occur? I will try to join if there aren't prior conflicts for me.

@DanBerrios Hello, I would be happy to join assuming I don't have a prior conflict. Would you be able to let me know when the next development meeting is?

OBI has weekly developer calls on Mondays. The time and connection details are at the bottom of our homepage: http://obi-ontology.org/. Looking forward to meeting your!
