change drug def and add a defined term 'approved drug'' #216

Closed obi-bot closed 7 years ago

Discussed on call 14 Sep 09. Current definition of drug role is too tight and actually defines approved drug. Also picked up in roles review (HP/PL)

1. Definition of drug role old def:Drug role is a role assigned to an entity by a regulatory agency that is designed to diagnose, treat or prevent an abnormal medical condition new def: Drug role is a role assigned to an entity which is designed to diagnose, treat or prevent an abnormal condition.

2. A defined class for 'approved drug' will be created as a defined class - role which is realized during an approval process. Some discussion about whether this should be a material which gets a role as a result of approval process (MC), or a role (AR). Decision to go with creating as a defined role.

Drug role has been edited. Approved drug role not essential for the paper, therefore downgrading priority

drug role def needs to be modified in the ontology - AR/JF not happy with the current generic definition. Would prefer something like active ingredient.
