[BUG] [DIS-JOINT SPAN] eHOST doesn't show span information after the comparator panel got extended. #126

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open an eHOST project with annotations.
2. choose or create overlapped annotations. 
3. ehost will display the "diff" button on the right side.
4. click on the "diff" button.
5. click another annotation on the viewer.
6. *** THERE IS NOTHING IN THE SPAN LIST ***

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
SPANS SHOULD BE LISTED ON THE LIST OF SPANS FOR CURRENT ANNOTATION
