Selected highlight issue

What: object in “My Objects” tab is highlighted when user clicks on the area around object name, object is selected when user clicks on object’s name or object’s icon, the highlighting stays on the object, which area was originally clicked on Browser used: Google Chrome Version 58.0.3029.110 (64-bit) How to perform:

• Create two objects in object browser
• Click on the area around the name of the first object
• Click on the name or icon of the second object
• Review that second object has appeared in a workspace even though the first object is highlighted

Thank you for reporting this issue.

This is how we intended it to work. The idea is that you might want to select an object in the browser (e.g. to rename it, delete it or move it) while ANOTHER object is opened in the editor.

So the only way to achieve that was to open objects based on a click on their icon or name, and a click on any other part of the object would select it (for the tools in the browser). Do you think it would be preferable to have the object which is selected in the browser always be displayed in the editor?
