IDE improvement Suggestion #258

The icons that I have highlighted in this photo appear next to the IDE. I think they should have some javascript functionality so that when you hover over them, a small alert appears that tell the user what these buttons do. Also they need to have some javascript so that they get highlighted when you hover over them. They don't look like active buttons otherwise.
