You can work around this by specifying "Apply Rules Globally".
The issue is not resolved.
Even if I set the option above, I still get a lot of requests for the same application in Xcode 12.
I don't see the option "Apply Rules Globally" in the latest version 2.0.0. Is there any way to disable Lulu for Xcode simulators?
bug still here with 2.3.0. Any workaround ?
Still looking for any workaround for this issue?!
I haven't found one and stopped using the app for this reason
This is definitely a required feature, otherwise more iOS-devs will stop using this app, relates to https://github.com/objective-see/LuLu/issues/379.
LuLu v2.4.0 now (finally) supports this.
Via the 'Add Rule' button (bottom right of the Rules window), you can now create a "directory" rule that will apply to any item within that directory or any of its subdirectories:
However, if you just want to allow Simulator apps, there is now a dedicated option for this too:
Xcode Simulators always create a new package folder for application and it is quite annoying that Lulu always ask me to allow Internet usage for even the same app
I just want to always allow Internet for all Xcode Simulators apps:
So I want to add all subfolders/subpaths in
/Users/user/Library/Developer/CoreSimulator/Devices/*
But it seems Lilu doesn't support it, it only supports one absolute path to a specific app..
So I want to allow all apps inside Devices folder:
