I didn't realize I'd never submitted this... It's a function for making a gridded charcoal map. This was created alongside pfDotMap, even though there was already pfGridding it was convenient to have a function that was more consistent with the dotmap code I was working on. Has some differences from pfGridding that might make it a useful alternative to include, but definitely a lot of overlap in basic functionality, so feel free to leave out if you want.
