I left AG Pro Beta 4.2.2 (721) closed on my iPhone for a week. #5

I left AG Pro Beta 4.2.2 (721) closed on my iPhone for a week. Then I checked the filters update date and I found out that none were updated. Obviously AG background refresh was active, even if I don't know what kind of background refresh AG is doing.

The only way to get automatic updates is to leave AG Pro application open.

Am I right?

At the present time it seems so. However that's not what it supposes to be.
