OBA Scope: What about Plant Traits? #168

What is our strategy with regards to communicating scope? We are clearly focused on metazoa/vertebrates, but a small number of traits like

may cause confusion.

We should reach out to https://github.com/Planteome/plant-trait-ontology/issues

and @elserj and @marieALaporte and develop a joint strategy. We should probably:

  1. Cede the handful of plant-specific trait terms in OBA to TO
  2. Create a mapping between species neutral traits in OBA and TO
  3. Prepare a joint release (i.e. an OBA+TO release, as a custom release artefact, here in OBA)?
