Draft term:

label: segmented neutrophil of bone marrow
def: "A segmented neutrophilic cell of the bone marrow reserve pool that
expresses CD11b (integrin alpha-M) and high levels of CD16 (low affinity
immunoglobulin gamma Fc region receptor III) on its cell surface."

subClassOf: mature neutrophil
subClassOf: part_of some bone marrow
subClassOf: has_plasma_membrane_part some 'integrin alpha-M'
subClassOf: has_plasma_membrane_part some 'low affinity immunoglobulin gamma Fc
region receptor III'

Questions: is it correct to classify this under 'mature neutrophil' or is it
still immature.
Also wondering if we should include markers in the name.
(NOte - not clear to me that we have enough info for necessary and sufficient
conditions here - so have kept axiomatisation as subclasses.

Alex: any comments?

Hi David,

The segmented form of the neutrophil is the mature form, so the placement is
correct.

As a side issue, currently it appears that the term 'band form neutrophil' is
mistakenly asserted as both an 'immature neutrophil' and a 'mature neutrophil'.
It should only be asserted as an 'immature neutrophil'. This needs to be
fixed. If you are finished editing, I will do this, or you can if you are not
done yet.

Thanks,
Alex

Committed term (and moved 'band form neurotrophil' to under mature only). Have
left markers out of name for now. Will be in next release.

'band form neutrophil' should be a type of immature neutrophil, not a mature neutrophil; my mistake. Will fix after further review.
