Not sure what is going on in the first. Looks like it may be a CL issue. The second is a problem where the CL changed the definition of the term and did not make a new term for a specific cell type for mammals. I will just remove that mapping. If fish there isn't a parathyroid gland. The fish equivalent is the the ultimobranchial bodie(s). So in fish parathyroid hormone is produced in the ultimobranchial bodies. The old definition of parathyroid hormone secreting cell was a cell that secreted parathyroid hormone. Fish have many more PTH and PTH related genes then mammals as one paper says ". Overall, the PTH system appears more complex in fishes than in mammals, providing evidence of continued evolution in non-tetrapod species." PMID:14684608.
Thinking about it, however UBERON handles PTH secreting cells for general teleost will need to be checked to make sure it isn't linking to the wrong organ.
Thanks @cerivs!
Hi @cerivs and/or @ybradford ,
When you have a chance, could you please review this thread, and see if it's been resolved? If it hasn't, could you please suggest a bullet list of edits. Thanks!
There are a couple of mappings that end up in Uberon
cl-bridge-to-zfa.owl
that are unsatisfiable because the taxon constraints in CL or Uberon exclude zebrafish:
