HPO term
Dyspareunia HP:0030016 ("Recurrent or persistent genital pain associated with sexual intercourse. ")
is a subclass of Female sexual dysfunction HP:0030014.
The Wikipedia entry reads: "The term dyspareunia covers both female dyspareunia and male dyspareunia, but many discussions that use the term without further specification concern the female type, which is more common than the male type.", and has a section on male dyspareunia.
Suggested revision and reasons
Should Dyspareunia HP:0030016 be moved up to be a subclass of Abnormality of reproductive system physiology HP:0000080?
Alternatively, should a class be created for 'male dyspareunia' or similar? And a synonym 'female dyspareunia' added to HP:0030016? (I agree that the label "dyspareunia" should be reserved for the female term in keeping with common usage.)
