Is this actually what is intended here and not "testicular dysgenesis syndrome"? The alternative would be called gonadal dysgenesis 46 XY and not testicular dysgenesis. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK539886/ . This may be what is intended here.
I'm not aware of the original intentions behind the term, but I've suggested a definition for a term that currently lacks one. "Gonadal dysgenesis" (HP:0000133) and "Gonadal dysgenesis, male" (HP:0008668) are existing HPO terms, with the latter having the textual definition mentioned, while the former is undefined. "Testicular dysgenesis" (HP:0008715) may be redundant unless an alternative definition was originally intended. Additionally, could "Testicular dysgenesis" be added as a synonym to "Gonadal dysgenesis, male"? Thank you for your insights and help!
HPO term HP:0008715
Suggested revision of textual definition Abnormal development of the testis or testes.
