HP:0010809 ! Broad uvula [DEF: "Increased width of the uvula (FMA:55022) (subjective finding)."] HP:0010810 ! Long uvula [DEF: "Increased length of the uvula (FMA:55022)."]

why is broad uvula a subjective finding, and long uvula is not?

Can we get rid of this qualifier?

also, the following make use of the string 'finding' in the synonym, name or def. Can we get rid of this string and have HPO be an ontology of phenotypes that exist in reality independent of findings?

HP:0002921 ! Abnormal CSF findings HP:0003114 ! Abnormal cardiological findings HP:0003117 ! Abnormal endocrinological laboratory findings HP:0003129 ! Abnormal neurological laboratory findings HP:0003135 ! Abnormal hematological laboratory findings HP:0003340 ! Abnormal dermatological laboratory findings HP:0003346 ! Abnormal immunological laboratory finding HP:0003355 ! Aminoaciduria HP:0003380 ! Decreased number of myelinated fibers HP:0003445 ! EMG: neuropathic changes HP:0003555 ! Muscle fiber splitting HP:0004234 ! Bone-in-a-bone appearance of carpal bones HP:0007359 ! Partial seizures HP:0008127 ! Bipartite calcaneus HP:0009704 ! Chronic CSF lymphocytosis HP:0009780 ! Iliac horns HP:0010512 ! Adrenal calcification HP:0010809 ! Broad uvula

Your suggestion is on the money and I have corrected/moved Abnormal CSF findings, Abnormal cardiological findings, Abnormal hematological laboratory findings, Abnormal dermatological laboratory findings. I am not sure what the problem is with the rest of the list (probably the word finding is used in a comment or definition). We will deal with the endocrinological and immunological findings terms in the course of our revision of the metabolic section, which is already starting to look better.
