Hi Terry,

I was wondering whether parametrial fat pad (the encapsulated adipose tissue associated with the extension of the subserous coat of the uterus laterally between the layers of the broad ligament) could be added to MA.

Sorry, George, that it has taken me so long to respond to this request. I will add "parametrial fat pad" as is-a "fat pad" (MA:0002481) for now. I will also further evaluate the organization of the subclasses of "fat pad." Could you send a link for the source of the definition you cited? Thanks.

Updated MA file including new term "parametrial fat pad" (MA:0002953) should be accessible through MGI and at the OBO foundry website on Monday 1/25/10.
