Some definitions/descriptions of "cardiac jelly": (1) The gelatinous noncellular material between the endothelial lining and the myocardial layer of the heart in very young embryos, later serving as a substratum for cardiac mesenchyme. (2) a gelatinous substance present between the endothelium and myocardium of the embryonic heart that transforms into the connective tissue of the endocardium. (3) This acellular secretion of the myocardium plays a central role in septation of the heart and formation of the atrioventricular canals. During the early stages of heart development, the cardiac jelly comprises most of the thickness of the heart wall. As the heart differentiates, however, the cardiac jelly disappears and myocardium soon accounts for the major proportion of the heart wall.
Here, again, I believe that this is strictly an embryonic structure. Please let me know if you have found evidence to the contrary.

Hi Terry,
would cardiac jelly (The extracellular matrix between the myocardium and the endocardium) be appropriate for MA ?
Many thanks !
