Requestin term for left ventricle myocardium #44

Hi, I'm still annotating MA terms for GEO records. In the series record GSE12639 (and related sample records; the reference is PMID: 19789393) the tissue they use is listed as "myocardium, the remote zone tissues of left ventricular free wall". Currently "heart left ventricle" and "ventricle myocardium" are sibling terms with no common child term(s). I would like to request a term for "left ventricle myocardium" which would presumably be a child of both "heart left ventricle" and "ventricle myocardium". I don't know enough about heart anatomy to know if the description they give would support an even more granular term (presumably having to do with the "free wall"). If you could also look into that and possibly add such a more granular term that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I have created a new term, "left ventricle myocardium" (MA:0002983), as an is-a child of "ventricle myocardium" as well as part-of "heart left ventricle". These more granular, region-specific terms are clearly indicated.

note: Presumeably, "ventricle myocardium" should have some relationship to "heart ventricle muscular part" (MA:0001879). as well as to another existing term, "heart ventricle wall" (MA:0002791). However, for a number of reasons, it has been difficult to determine how to correctly represent this. I plan to look this over more thoroughly to try to sort it out.

F.Y.I. The FMA has a term "Wall of heart" (FMAID:7274) which is defined as the "Wall of organ which has as its parts the endocardium, myocardium , epicardium, and the cardiac septum, surrounded by the pericardial sac proper and is continuous with the walls of the systemic and pulmonary arterial and venous trees." There are several terms for myocardium; (1) "Myocardium" (FMAID:9462), defined as the "Muscle layer of organ which has as its parts the myocardium proper and the conducting system of the heart." and (2) "Myocardium proper" (FMAID:84470) - a part of "Myocardium", with part "Cardiac muscle of myocardium proper" (FMAID:261722).

With regards to "left ventricular free wall," this seems to be referring to that part of the left ventricle wall that is not shared with either the left atrium (e.g. the region with the mitral valve) or the right ventricle (i.e. the interventricular septum). It is not clear how to best represent this; I will give it further consideration.
