smooth muscle terms #45

Closed cmungall closed 9 years ago

The MA has quite a few specific smooth muscle terms associated with various organ systems or vascular tissues, etc. None of these are children of smooth muscle tissue [MA:0000166]. Should they be? I think I could argue both ways.

I agree that the various location-specified smooth muscle terms should have some association with "smooth muscle tissue", most likely with is-a (subclass) relationships as in the FMA. It is something that I have been planning to address, but, as it would be a significant effort to do this comprehensively, it remains on the "to do" list. Hope this works for you.

Works for me. I also will have to address this comprehensively at some point. I just wanted to know which direction to go in.
