MA:0000145 ! mammary gland [subclass: "integumental system gland"] [subclass: "exocrine gland"] MA:0000787 ! abdominal mammary gland [subclass: "mammary gland"] [subclass: "abdomen organ"] MA:0000789 ! cervical mammary gland [subclass: "mammary gland"] [subclass: "neck organ"] MA:0000790 ! inguinal mammary gland [subclass: "mammary gland"] [subclass: "female reproductive gland"] MA:0000797 ! thoracic mammary gland [subclass: "mammary gland"] [subclass: "chest organ"]

is there a reason why only the inguoinal is considered a female reproductive gland?

The mammary gland is not a reproductive gland! The reproductive glands are the testis and ovary if this term is to be used properly, but its not a great term to use as it could include the accessory glands of the male and female reproductive tracts. It certainly doesnt include the mammary gland which is not necessary for reproduction.

Coincidentally I was just looking at this again today, as it's causing inference of equivalencies between MP terms:

http://build.berkeleybop.org/job/build-mp/281/console

MP has this:

...is_a MP:0002160 ! abnormal reproductive system morphology *** ....is_a MP:0000653 ! abnormal sex gland morphology .....is_a MP:0001126 ! abnormal ovary morphology .....is_a MP:0001146 ! abnormal testis morphology .....is_a MP:0001158 ! abnormal prostate gland morphology .....is_a MP:0001169 ! abnormal bulbourethral gland morphology .....is_a MP:0002059 ! abnormal seminal vesicle morphology .....is_a MP:0002717 ! abnormal preputial gland morphology ....is_a MP:0001119 ! abnormal female reproductive system morphology .....is_a MP:0000627 ! abnormal mammary gland morphology .....is_a MP:0008015 ! abnormal female inguinal canal morphology .....is_a MP:0009208 ! abnormal female genitalia morphology ....is_a MP:0001145 ! abnormal male reproductive system morphology .....is_a MP:0008016 ! abnormal male inguinal canal morphology .....is_a MP:0009198 ! abnormal male genitalia morphology .....is_a MP:0002208 ! abnormal germ cell morphology .....is_a MP:0005651 ! abnormal gonad rudiment morphology ....is_a MP:0003315 ! abnormal perineum morphology ....is_a MP:0003673 ! abnormal inguinal canal morphology .....is_a MP:0008015 ! abnormal female inguinal canal morphology .....is_a MP:0008016 ! abnormal male inguinal canal morphology ....is_a MP:0005149 ! abnormal gubernaculum morphology

i.e.in MP inguinal canal (male and female) are reproductive system structures, but not genitalia. Similarly, for the mammary gland.

So in MP/MA it seems "reproductive system" refers to primary+secondary, but "genitalia" refers to primary?

Not that I can specifically recall. I will defer to Paul's expertise and remove the relationship.
