Is the TA available in a computable format? Do they use the TA IDs or the latin names?
There may already be an FMA to TA mapping (they have latin syns for 8k+ terms, may be TA derived?)
One approach would be to derive these by transitivity Ubr->Wikipedia->TA. I don't know how complete the latter is though.
The translated Chinese names are used in the database. The TA IDs of Chinese names should be available. Will can I found the FMA to TA mapping? I think that would be good enough.
Thanks!
Would this help https://github.com/mhalle/ta98-sqlite?

My collaborators are working on clinical image database. Current they are using Federative International Committee on Anatomical Terminology ( TA, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terminologia_Anatomica) for data annotation and exploration. They are considering to use OBO Foundry ontology, FMA or UBERON, to replace TA terminology.
I noticed that UBERON has done many mappings to external ontologies/terminologies. I am wondering whether UBERON would like to map to TA terminology. If so, it would be easy for those who are using TA to use UBERON.
Thanks,
Jie
