missing pallium subdivisions?

Hi Chris,

PMID:11923018 "the pallial region of the teleost telencephalon contains subdivisions presumably homologous with various pallial areas in amniotes, including possibly a homologue of the medial pallium or hippocampus." ... "as a consequence of the eversion process that characterizes telencephalic development in actinopterygians, the telencephalic area that occupies a topological position equivalent to the amniote medial pallium or hippocampus is the lateral pallium." ... Sounds like some pallium subdivisions (lateral, medial) are missing in Uberon?

Not sure 'medial pallium' can be considered as hippocampus synonym as claimed in this article, because: WP: The medial pallium forms the precursor of the hippocampus. It does not resemble the hippocampus visually because the layers are not warped into an S shape or enfolded by the dentate gyrus, but the homology is indicated by strong chemical and functional affinities.
