`uberon-nif-merged.owl` can’t be built because the NIF Gross Anatomy is nowhere to be found #3018

We have some rules to create a uberon-nif-merged.owl product, which is supposed to be (as the name suggests) a merge of Uberon and the “NIF Gross Anatomy“ (itself a part of the NIF Standard Ontology).

Those rules currently fail because we attempt to download the NIF Gross Anatomy from a dead link (http://ontology.neuinfo.org/NIF/BiomaterialEntities/NIF-GrossAnatomy.owl).

Importantly, what seems to be the latest version of the NIF Gross Anatomy (https://github.com/SciCrunch/NIF-Ontology/blob/master/ttl/NIF-GrossAnatomy.ttl) only contains deprecated terms that have been replaced by… UBERON terms. So unless there is another version somewhere with some non-obsoleted terms, there is no point at all in creating a product that combines UBERON with an obsolete ontology and the aforementioned rules can be deleted.

Nobody had anything to say in three months, I think it’s fair to assume this uberon-nif-merged.owl product, which is currently “unbuildable” (and has been for quite some time), is not and will not be missed by anyone.

I’ll delete the corresponding rules in the Makefile.
