@AvolaAmg can you have a look at this, please?
By having a look at this publication it seems that the pre central gyrus includes the primary motor cortex but also part of the premotor cortex and supplementary motor cortex by having a look at this publication you can see that the pre central gyrus includes additional part of the cortex:
The precentral gyrus is the anatomical location of the primary motor cortex, which is responsible for controlling voluntary motor movement on the body's contralateral side.
In addition to the primary motor cortex, the precentral gyrus also contains a portion of the supplementary motor cortex, which is involved in the planning of voluntary limb movement. see picture attached
from this other source, it seems that the pre central gyrus contains the primary motor cortex, part of the supplementary motor cortex and the premotor cortex
I hope this helps!
@AvolaAmg @aleixpuigb thanks for further proving the point that they are not synonyms. Primary motor cortex is indeed a part of the precentral gyrus.

Suggested revision and reasons
Primary motor cortex currently has synonym gyrus precentralis a.k.a. precentral gyrus but this is not correct based on anatomy it should be a region of the precentral gyrus rather than being the same as so this should be removed.
Instead, primary motor cortex should be "part of" precentral gyrus.
