Anna and Sue asked the group to consider changing patterns several patterns to use characteristic of part of rather than characteristic of. The group was having a hard time visualizing the consequences of this. The proposal was to put together a spreadsheet of Uberon terms to run through the patterns using either 'characteristic of part of' OR 'characteristic of' then output the results into 2 test ontology files so we could review the results of reasoning over these in Protege

I think we have enough examples in the spreadsheet now. Now we need to create the alternate patterns and generate the terms in a format than can be brought into protege and reasoned over to review the consequences. Thanks
