When I visit my profile and see the Trash icon - I do not know if I have anything present in the trash unless I click on it.
This would be handy for discoverability such as perhaps I deleted a notebook and wanted to fetch it back before 30 days are up, or I didn't realize I had deleted notebooks hanging around.

Either a binary icon ["empty"/"full"] like an OS trash icon,
-- or --
A little number next to the trash icon indicating how many notebooks were in it - like an inbox / tag.
Describe alternatives you've considered
It's a minor UI request - just would be handy. I've not considered alternatives.
