code editing selection highlight bug #561

Describe the bug

the wrong region of text is highlighted with a keyboard-based highlight operation to select text

To Reproduce

  1. put your cursor here

  1. select by pressing shift+down

image

  1. cmd+x to cut the selected text

image

Expected behavior only the deleted portion should be highlighted

Desktop (please complete the following information): macos, chrome 111
