Hi @endlessblink and thanks for using tasks...
And so I need to change the date / delete all the future events as well
No definitely you don't.... The next recurring task is only created when the current one is marked as DONE.
So there is some misunderstanding here, and I am unable to tell what, as the description is totally abstract with no concrete examples.
Please do read the docs for recurring tasks:
https://publish.obsidian.md/tasks/Getting+Started/Recurring+Tasks
If you still feel that a new feature is required, please read the 'Report a bug' docs to understand why I need actual example text that I can copy - and then give me some example recurring tasks from your notes, and explain clearly what exactly the problem is that you are trying to solve.

Thanks.
Thanks for the detailed explanation. I guess that there is some misunderstanding on my part, I will try to understand how that happened. Thank you!

Absolutely no problem at all...
I'll close this for now, but please definitely do come back and add more info when you figure it out - then I'll re-open this, perhaps I can improve the documentation if it caused the confusion...

🔖 Feature description
It would be great if it would be possible for recurring future tasks to be consolidated in one future task on the designated date.
✔️ Solution
Right now If I change the date of a recurring task to a future date, the duplicates of this task that were created. And so I need to change the date / delete all the future events as well. It would be great if this will be automatic and only one new task with the new date will be available.
