Pitfall: Editing settings on one device can cause the loss of earlier edits made on another device

Sounds reasonable. I would definitely also mention it in https://help.obsidian.md/Obsidian+Sync/Select+files+and+settings+to+sync (maybe in the "restarts" callout).
