I'm encountering a similar issue on Windows 11, importing from OneDrive.
I'll break it down:
1 - I imported data from OneDrive using the Importer plugin. 2 - Then removed the Importer's permissions from OneDrive's Privacy Apps and Permissions settings, thinking the import was complete. 3 - Later I noticed that the import was incomplete and tried to import again. 4 - Did't work. 4 - Uninstalled and then reinstalled the Importer plugin to try and restart the permission and import process. 5 - Despite reinstalling the plugin and attempting to reset permissions (also restarted Obsidian and Windows), the import function no longer works as it initially did.
Questions:
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Update:
After uninstalling Obsidian and deleting the C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\obsidian directory for a clean installation, the plugin still fails to function as before.
I'm considering trying on a different computer without previous Obsidian installations, but don't have access with privacy to one.
Would appreciate any suggestions.
Just a guess: I THINK Obsidian stores plugins and user-specific configs in the context of the vault (subdirectory ".obsidian"). Maybe you need to fix it in the Vault and not in Obsidian installation?
Can you please check if this issue still occurs in the latest release?
I imported my OneNote library and a bunch of my attachments failed to import. So thinking I would try again I deleted the OneNote folder that populated my Obsidian vault and tried importing again. Now when I sign into my MS account none of my OneNote folders or notes show up.
