"Failed to initialize video" after updating to v30.2.2 #11071

Expected Behavior

Obs-studio should launch.

Current Behavior

"Failed to initialize video".

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Update to v30.2.2.
  2. Launch obs-studio.

Anything else we should know?

This issue does not reproduce on version 29.1.2. I suspect this may be the same issue that prevented obs-studio from launching when the OpenGL renderer is in use on Windows, or perhaps the PR https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/pull/11002 that fixed it may have introduced this issue.

Is this being launched after the PC was put to sleep?
