Expected Behavior

https://youtu.be/XCWU4JKGr5g The right vlc recording. where when scrubbing the vid just stops for a bit and loads

Current Behavior

https://youtu.be/XCWU4JKGr5g The left vlc where when you scrub the video stuttered and sometimes the color pixels don't change or freak out.

Steps to Reproduce

1.have obs version that is after 30.0

  1. amd 264 encoding
  2. record for about I minute ...

VLC is probably not great with B-frames when seeking. Try disabling them.

it isn't just in vlc I have tried in pot player and build in media player on Windows 11 and they both show the same symptoms as vlc.

I may have narrowed the cause of this problem. the b frames. had a recording today with 2 b frames and it did this. and when turned of it was fine.
