The image is 16000x9000 which is too large for OBS to handle (technically the texture that OBS tries to request from your GPU). Resize the image to be smaller than 8192 pixels on the largest side.
This is a limitation of the DirectX level we use and will not be updated in the near future.
One might argue the fix here is to add some sanity checking to the image source.
Agreed, the crash could be prevented, but the large image size will not be supported anytime soon.
Oh, I agree, but I also think that crashing is bad too. Surely we can add something to prevent the crash and let the user know that what they are doing is wrong.

Partly I think, this crash here is happening in DirectX, 3427 due to memory usage. So same source of the problem with different crashes. If a sanity check is added in OBS before loading it should fix both issues tho.

I did the resize and now it works.

Closing in favor of #3427 which has a nicer analysis and includes that textures within the theoretical limits of D3D11 can still crash in drivers.
