Expected Behavior

When a group is hidden (eye icon) all contained sources should be silenced/hidden.

Current Behavior

User clicks on hidden icon next to group, making the group no longer hidden (note all sources within are selected as visible - it is only being hidden at the group level). Once user no longer needs the grouped items to be visible they click the hidden eye icon next to group. All items become hidden EXCEPT for the audio from the VLC video source. Although the video has stopped/hidden the audio continues indeffinitely (until the playlist completes - assuming it's not on loop).

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create source group with a VLC video source, adding a directory (to exactly repro my test), and any other sources you wish to add.
  2. Make all sources within the group visible
  3. Observe VLC video playlist playing
  4. Hide at group level, ie click the eye next to the group name only.
  5. Observe all sources within the group become hidden except for the audio of the vlc playlist. This continues. ...

Anything else we should know?

Can't reproduce using OBS 29 beta 2. I tried with both a file and a folder. When hiding the folder, it disappears from the mixer, and the audio is gone as well (checked the recording).

After further testing, we can reproduce this with VLC Source and Media Source with specific Steps To Reproduce:

  1. Add VLC Source.
  2. Add a file to VLC Source.
  3. Add VLC Source to Group.
  4. Apply Show Transition and Hide Transition to VLC Source.
  5. Hide Group.
