After updating the application from inside itself (from Help menu > Check for updates)
The displayed version in the application list should match the actual version installed.
Current Behavior
After updating the application from inside itself (from Help menu > Check for updates)
The windows displayed version in the application list does not match the actual version installed.
This results in false information for automated environments.
Steps to Reproduce
Install an older version of the application in my case it was version 27.2.4
Trigger the app to self update from (from Help menu > Check for updates)
Check the installed version from either windows installed apps list or with winget list OBSProject.OBSStudio command
Anything else we should know?
I noticed the uninstall.exe version is the same as the old version:
while the obs64.exe is the new version:
Sorry if this seems like a very very low priority bug, but remember a good application is a consistent application.
