La fonction merlin-switch-to-ml(i) "failed with exception : Not_found"

I'm mildly uncomfortable with french-speaking bugtracker items. I understand that having to write english may deter some people from reporting on the bugtracker, and that writing in one's native language makes for a more comfortable interaction with the developers.

However, the potential readers of the bugtracker item are not only the bug reporter and the developers of the project. People interested in contributing to the project may skim the bugtracker in search of things to fix. Users that consider submitting a bug may look at existing bugs first to make sure it hasn't been reported already. Users that hit an issue may look for guidance and workaround on the bugtracker (or find it by searching for a specific error message, etc.). In all those cases, ending up in front of a discussion in a language one doesn't speak can be a bad surprise, or even lead to some feeling of exclusion -- that's especially sensitive with OCaml which is quickly labelled a "french language".

I would recommend that we strongly recommend issues to be submitted and discussed in english, with an exception for people that speak french¹ but are unable report and discuss an issue in english. In that case, it would still be nice for someone to translate the non-english content -- I can do that for french messages if there are not too much of them.

¹: because that's the non-english language Merlin developers happen to speak, as far as I know. We could support some other languages if other developers joined...

Puis-je un peu commenter ici (in french) ou sur votre adresse gmail ?
