Enclosing highlighting is broken when a PPX is used #1472

A reminder issue for closed PR https://github.com/ocaml/merlin/pull/1469

The first step should be investigate whether there is an issue in provided PPX rewriter, or in merlin itself.

Closing since we determined that the issue was due to the PPX'shandling of locs.
