A list of opam remotes #2066

It would be very useful to have somewhere to keep track of remotes, particularly if it could be done in a lightweight way that could be parsed by mechanised bulk building tools.

I just noticed that this one popped up: http://forge.ispras.ru/projects/astraver/wiki#Using-OPAM (mailing list http://lists.gforge.inria.fr/pipermail/frama-c-discuss/2015-March/004739.html)

There are of course the Mirage, Ocsigen, Xapi and others around as well.

Somewhere on opam.ocaml.org would seem to make sense. Discoverability of remotes seems to fit well with package discovery and a visible list of remotes might encourage others to add their own.
