Getting `Error: The process '/opt/hostedtoolcache/opam/2.2.1/x86_64/opam' failed with exit` #851

Not sure what caused this but the latest action run fails to setup this action with a Error: The process '/opt/hostedtoolcache/opam/2.2.1/x86_64/opam' failed with exit error as shown here

The commit is totally unrelated to the error. Strangely, this action worked fine just an hour ago.
