along-track figure #13

Here's an update to the along-track filtering example figure. I've added a subplot to show eke for one cycle (one pass of the altimeter) and where it is negative compared to the positive eke from the Gaussian and boxcar. I think it is a clear way to show the sharp filter has more structure in the filtered field and the eke. I'm happy to remove the second or third panel if you all think both aren't necessary. I could also plot something showing on average how often eke is negative. The lower panel still shows the magnitude of the cross term and how it is minimal for the sharp filter.

As to the consistency of filter scales, I've followed what you last sent me @iangrooms ... the scales are labeled in the upper panel legend. Again everything is easy to tweak if this isn't consistent with your filtering @NoraLoose.

In retrospect, I think Laure wants to save the discussion of what is a good definition of EKE and also of pros/cons of different filter shapes for a different paper. So I think it would be better to leave off the cross term. @jakesteinberg can you make a version with the upper and middle panel, with the track location off to the side?

No problem at all, that makes sense. Would something like this work?
