This code is useful for slicing out a small area of the data on Pleiades. The defaults are for the agulhas region from the Jones et al. Lagrangian filtering preprint.

I realised this should actually be on a new branch - sorry - I will make a new PR

This PR is the same as #7 but it's to master not to a branch. I am merging this @rsaim , but like the previous version, there are a lot of paths that refer to a specific person's file tree. I think eventually it would be nice if this wasn't the case.

I'll try to improve this as I cruise through various tasks.
