FJC fit extends beyond contact point #27

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Load a playlist
2. Switch to fjc fitting
3. autopeak

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: fitted curves that begin/end at the contact point
Instead: fitted curves extends beyond contact point

Have you checked if it affects the measured lengths? That is, it is only a
graphical
problem or are the measured lengths effectively weird?

Ok, it seems it is *mostly* a graphical oddity -the contact point is not
further, it
simply tends to plot the fit even beyond the contact point.

However there could be something worse lurking there, still checking...

It seems just a plot issue, and that's been fixed but I am unsure. Can someone
do
some kind of thorough check and see how the FJC behaves? There could be some
issue in
the FJC but I really don't know at the moment -again, it seems OK, but I would
like
to be sure.

I keep the bug open for now...

Another user has actually checked the FJC fits and told me by email that
results are
analogous to those he finds with JPK software. I close the bug for now.
