what is atlas?

Atlas is a project to provide VMs to students, somewhat similar to SIPB's xvm project http://xvm.mit.edu/ and also like hive computers.

The idea is we would dynamically allocate a remote VM students could connect to that they could use it for classes, research, or host things from.
